JIG ALVO II - Chassis Aligning tool
In fiberglass, 6.2 mm thick
An excellent aligning tool for slot cars, now revised, improved, and made of fiberglass!
It assists in the alignment of any and all chassis for slot carts, in 1/32 or 1/24 scale, whether made of brass and wire or steel. It has support for 3/32 ", 1/8" and 2 mm axles, for aligning the rear bushings. It goes with all the accessories shown in the photos (except the chassis), including the 3/32" long rear axle, for welding and aligning the bushings
. The accessories are:
- 1 3/32" long axle for aligning the bushings;
- 2 supports (red, fiber) to hold the chassis;
- 14 stainless steel pins 1 mm diameter to fix and verify the alignment of the chassis;
- 4 vertical supports for the rear axle (stainless steel pins);
- 4 side fasteners (which can be used in 5 different positions) and
- 4 non-slip silicone feet.
Jig material: 6.2 mm thick FIBERGLASS (highly resistant to high temperatures and very light); the JIG is designed to assist in aligning the chassis, welding the bushings, the guide pin and small welds throughout the chassis, but should not be used as a mounting platform for the entire chassis, although it does support fast welds.
The chassis that appears as an example of alignment is not included.
